In-Home Puppy Day Training

Go to work.
Your puppy goes to school.

Two in-home training sessions a day, a curriculum I built myself, and a puppy who comes home a little more grown-up every evening — potty breaks, socialization, and real handling included, every single session.

Who it's for

Two kinds of busy owners, one program

01

The puppy who needs a job

Your puppy's brain doesn't clock out when you log on. Two structured sessions a day — half training, half real socialization and handling — keep them mentally worked instead of chewing your baseboards while you're on a call.

02

The owner who wants it done right, once

You don't have time to become a dog trainer on top of everything else. Ten in-home sessions a week builds the real foundation — potty training, handling, the basics that make the next year easier — fast, by someone who does this for a living.

How it works

The shape of every program

Exact session counts and transfer visits scale with your plan length — the full breakdown is in pricing below.

01

Jumpstart meeting

A 1-hour sit-down before we start, so I know your puppy, your home, and your goals before the first session.

02

In-home training days

Two sessions a day, weekdays. Each one includes a potty break, a quick daily update for you, and time split evenly between training and socialization/handling.

03

Transfer session(s)

A 1-hour handoff where we go through everything together, so the training transfers from me to you — not just to your puppy.

04

Graduation

For the 2- and 4-week programs: a final walkthrough that marks the finish line and sets you up for what's next.

The oversight behind every session
"I custom-designed every piece of this curriculum myself. Whether I'm the one at your door or it's a trainer I've personally trained, I'm overseeing every puppy and every trainer in this program, 100% — nothing runs without my eyes on it."
— Michelle, Founder & Head Trainer, Savvy City Dog

Questions

Before you reach out

Does my puppy need to be a certain age?
Puppy Day Training is built for puppies under about 16 weeks — that's the stage where structure and socialization go the furthest. If your pup is a little older, reach out anyway. I'll either welcome them into the program or point you toward the right fit instead.
Why is this only available in Chevy Chase and Downtown Bethesda?
Two in-home sessions a day only works if I — or a trainer on my team — can actually get to your door and back without your puppy losing half the day to traffic. Keeping the service area tight is what makes ten real, unrushed sessions a week possible.
Will you personally be training my puppy?
I built this curriculum myself, and every puppy and every trainer in the program is under my direct oversight — nothing runs without my eyes on it. Early on, that often means I'm the one at your door. As the program grows, sessions may be run by a trainer I've personally trained, with me still watching over every detail.
What happens once the program ends?
You'll leave with a transfer session where we go over everything together, so you can pick up exactly where the training left off — plus a graduation for the 2- and 4-week programs. And if you want a tune-up down the line, I'm just a call away.
What if I need to reschedule a session?
Life happens. Let me know as soon as you can and we'll find a time that works — the goal is a program that fits into your week, not one more thing to stress about.
