I started out at George Washington University as an International Affairs Major.
When visiting Paris as a student, I ended up unexpectedly adopting a homeless puppy. When I got her back to the US, I realized she had several issues, including dog aggression, resource guarding, and anxiety.
Helping her made me realize that dog training is what I wanted to do!
After that, I never looked back and I’ve been training dogs professionally since 2006. During that 13 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with it all:
- Puppies, seniors, and everything in between
- New rescues
- Common issues like house training, destruction, barking, and jumping
- Babies and dogs
- Kids and dogs
- Leash aggression (aka leash reactivity)
- Separation anxiety
- Dog aggression
- Human aggression
- Trauma survivors like hoarding cases, puppy mill dogs, street dogs, and dogs used for cosmetic testing
I love sharing my knowledge with others in a way that is practical and straight-forward. It never ceases to give me goosebumps when I see frazzled dogs and stressed-out owners transform into a confident, joyful team. That’s the power of an effective training program!
I hope you’ll join me. I’d love to be part of your dog training journey, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for your and your dog!
